Manufacturers are busy with increasing efficiencies, securing capital to enhance their infrastructure, sourcing material within a volatile market, and addressing workforce development needs for today and tomorrow. The increased opportunities, complexity, and requirements of increased social equity/supplier diversity customer requirements can be daunting.

Small businesses need education and access to the manufacturing industry to sell their products and leverage local content requirements in industries such as offshore wind, solar, hydrogen, and construction only available for small and diverse firms.

• Renewables: Grid, Wind, Solar, Hydro, Hydrogen, Biomass, and

• Security/Information Technology (IT)

• Maritime: Ports and Vessels.

Participants: Adult Program (18+) and Teen Program (grades 6 - 12)

Class Size Per Session: 30 - 50 Participants

Training: 20-Hour Course

• Virtual self-paced virtual pre-requisite training course

• 2 Hour | Virtual kick-off meeting

• 8 Hour | In-Person Class Room instruction

• 8 Hour | In-Person

Cost: No fees or tuition | funded by manufacturing leaders in supplier diversity

Paid Training: $150 training stipend per participant

Prerequisite: Business must be located within a HUBZone community

Registration: Opens December 18, 2022
